Blueberry and Hazelnut Oatmeal


Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 4 to 6 minutes
Serves: 4
Serving Size: ½ cup cooked oatmeal

2 cups water
1 cup old fashioned rolled oats
¼ teaspoon salt
1 pint fresh blueberries (about 2 cups)
¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon
¼ cup hazelnuts, toasted and chopped
2 tablespoons honey

Bring the water to a boil in a pot. Stir in the oats and salt. Reduce the heat to medium. Simmer until the oats are tender, about 4 to 6 minutes.

Remove the pot from the heat. Stir in the blueberries, cinnamon, and half of the hazelnuts.

Divide the oatmeal into 4 portions. Top each portion with the remaining hazelnuts and a drizzle of honey.
